The operator sets the working rewind speed, winding length or the required diameter and other parameters of the work process from the machine control panel. The width of the resulting rolls after slitting is equal to the distance between the knives, which the operator manually sets.
Slitting in this model is carried out by disk knives. Knives are mounted on individual knife shafts, which are located under each other, forming two rows of knives - the lower and upper. Knives of the upper shaft are adjusted to the lower knives.
The movement of the clamping cones for the unwinding roll is carried out using hydraulics. Lifting the unwinding roll from the floor is also carried out hydraulically. Start and stop of the machine are made in a smooth mode.
The machine is equipped with ultrasonic sensors measuring the diameter of the rolls and the meter counter, which can give a signal to stop when the specified diameter of the winding or unwinding rolls or a given length of winding. The required winding density is provided automatically. The roll unwinding unit is equipped with the function of automatic control and alignment of the unwinding roll position along the web edge.
